Elba's Solomon Reed will help players "fulfill an impossible mission of espionage and survival".
Phantom Liberty marks the debut of Idris Elba's Cyberpunk character, which was revealed last December. The press release describes it as a "deep dive into an intricate story of espionage and political intrigue which connects the highest echelons of power with the brutal world of black-market mercenaries" where the player's only goal is survival. As described in a press release from CD Projekt Red, the expansion follows V on a mission to save the President of the New United States of America, who has landed in the dangerous district of Dogtown after her orbital shuttle was shot down.
